Ndola gets the vote over Kyathos, Executive Paddy and Grey Paint to name but three. Despite having no jumping form figures to speak of, Ndola is trained by Barney Curley, and that should be enough to send the bookies' running for cover. It would be no surprise if the ex-South African eight-year-old found reserves of stamina from somewhere to score on his first outing in three years, and in truth, if anybody else trained a sprinter with such a long absence to over come, making his debut over timber, he would be dismissed out of hand. However, any support at all for this fellow should be seriously heeded. Kyathos has a lot more experience over hurdles, but failed to justify favouritism in an equally weak seller at Fakenham last time, while Executive Paddy has been clobbered by the handicapper since scoring here 12-months ago. Grey Paint hails from a top yard but has to give weight away all round, and instead we will latch onto the intriguing dark horse Ndola.
