An open heat and it may be worth chancing DUNEEN POINT. Tim Vaughan's ex-Irish charge was pulled up lame last time but had shown more than enough promise in novice and maiden hurdle company behind Carlicue and Teaforthree and a repeat of that form puts in him here on an enticing mark. Nobby Kivambo is 0-19 over timber but has still gone up 10lb since finishing a good second to Sea Cliff last September. He should run his usual game race, whilst Shacklesborough will need to be winning sooner rather than later in order to remain an inmate of the champion trainer. Easement also merits respect.
