Verdict

Quo Video has obvious claims but must be doubtful after his Hereford exertions yesterday. If absent, his Market Rasen victim ALDERLEY ROVER can notch a second fencing success, returning to a more appropriate grade after being well beaten in the Kim Muir at the Cheltenham Festival. He had previously scored with a degree of authority at Musselburgh, jumping and travelling well. Aldertune is the obvious danger but appears to have his own ideas about the game and was easily brushed aside last time, having just inched home somewhat reluctantly at Chepstow previously. Hopefully, fences may help to rekindle the diminishing enthusiasm of the previously useful hurdler, Vagrant Emperor.
