GRASP is the selection in this contest with Go Solo and Malakiya likely to have their followers. Something of a leap of faith has to be taken with Grasp, who on official figures, holds every chance. He does seem capable of exhibiting form on this surface though and as a course winner, that sort of form is hard to get away from. Go Solo stays this trip and returns to hurdles after an abortive chasing campaign. The well bred Malakiya was surely never conceived to be contesting races of this nature and even at this level, the likely going has to be a huge question mark for the backers. Sainte Kadette acquitted himself well at Cheltenham behind Crack Away Jack and would be a player if two recent falls over the larger obstacles have not ebbed away at his confidence. Head To Kerry has it to do at the figures. Bollywood is very much part of the fabric in plating company while Heez A Wonder did exhibit some form in Ireland for Francis Flood but had lost his way badly. A trip to Richard Newland could be what the doctor ordered. Three Lions wins his share at this level and makes his debut for George Baker today. Grasp is the pick in a race where many of the protagonists have been desperately out of sorts.
