DAYS OF PLEASURE can get the better of Global Strategy and Alaminos in this hands and heels handicap hurdle. The selection wore a visor last time out, which looks worth using again after running a credible race. The four-year-old gelding stays really well and looks to have the stamina for hurdling at this modest level. Global Strategy represents the in-form Oliver Sherwood yard and ran a good race in context at Wincanton in November. After a break, a recent pipe-opener will have put him straight and he may be capable of some improvement. Alaminos has shown little so far but he is now more interesting switched to handicap-company. David Pipe has plotted up better wins than this in his short training career and with the application of a first time visor the gelding will be very interesting if supported. Course and distance winner Jades Double is back on a handy mark but would prefer soft ground to be seen to best effect. Trainer Gary Moore does well at this track and first time blinkers might help Weisenfurst raise the bar in such lowly company. Little else makes any appeal and if you must have a bet then Days Of Pleasure is the suggestion.
