While Dead Or Alive has won his last two starts and has every chance of making it three on the bounce today, Tim Vaughan's gelding is 9lbs worse in with NOSTRINGSATTACHED for the quarter-of-a-length that separated the pair at Plumpton last month and Jonjo O'Neill's gelding is taken to reverse that form and he gets the vote ahead of I Hear Thunder. Bob Buckler's gelding has been running creditably of late without winning and deserves to get his head in front but he has not won since November 2006 and may have to settle for minor honours again. Mark Bradstock's Vial De Kerdec has won each of his last two starts but a 14lb rise for the latest of those makes this more difficult. Beehawk has slipped to a fair mark and was still there with every chance before unseating his rider at the last here last time and he has to be considered but more solid claims are held by Nostringsattached, who is taken to go one better than at Plumpton last time.
