A competitive end to the card and with her ideal trip and conditions to suit Our Piccadilly has to be short-list material, though the draw has not been kind and we prefer TRIPLE DREAM. Milton Bradley's five-year-old is positioned towards the nearside rail, which is usually advantageous at this track. In addition he is just 1lb higher than his last win, is at his best at this trip, and handles soft ground well, so he gets the vote. Another for whom conditions hold no fear is Efistorm. He is 4lb higher than when winning at Sandown Park recently and should be thereabouts. Magical Speedfit has gone up a harsh-looking 8lb for his latest Brighton win and his profile suggests that he will have a devil of a job to make it two victories in succession for the first time in his career, so we will look to Triple Dream.
Efistorm 8-1 (9-11) Held up in last trio, still plenty to do when not clear run and switched to outside over 1f out, strong run to lead final 100 yards, pushed along and ran on well, won at Sandown 5f hcp 0-75 (5) gf beating Gwilym (9-8) by 1l, 12 ran.
