PERCEPTION gets the vote despite her high draw as few of the others make immediate appeal at first glance. Support for the usual suspects, who include the likes of Damini and Silver Games, would be worth noting. The latter has an entry in the Fillies' Mile and the maiden that she finished down the field in at Newbury appeared to be fairly strong and she may be able to improve significantly on that performance. John Dunlop won both divisions of this maiden last year and whilst he appears to have a stronger hand in the first division it would be foolish to rule out Golden Games despite a fairly modest run first time up. Money Money Money finished almost three lengths in front of Damini at Kempton although the Stoute runner was fairly short in the market and ran very green so she may well be able to reverse the form. Perception looked in need of the experience at Lingfield in a maiden that was won by a fair sort but she made up good ground in the closing stages to finish just over three lengths adrift. It's reasonable to expect some improvement from that performance; this is the acid test but we expect Perception to pass it with flying colours.
