Red Dahlia has by far the most consistent form and is selected over Pardon What, Eljutan and Good Potential. Quite a few of these can be safely ruled out on latest evidence, and Red Dahlia can land her third win in six starts. Mark Pitman's mare gets on well with Andrew Tinkler, and although the handicapper is slowly but surely getting a grip, she should be good for another win in this company at least. She displayed real battling qualities when scoring at Plumpton the time before last, taking it up four out, and fending off plenty of challenges on the way to the line. She should not have too work that hard today and can bounce back from her Taunton defeat back over this longer trip. Pardon What had Eljutan back in third place when they met at Worcester and was impressive enough, so even at the revised weights should just about uphold that form. Both can figure in the finish here along with Good Potential who got bogged down in the heavy ground at Lingfield last time. The rest are hard to make claims for, and connections will be surely disappointed if Red Dahlia does not take all the beating.
