Nonrunner
In the seller, Ocean Gift is selected ahead of The Crooked Ring and Tipsy Lad. Ocean Gift has been running well enough from his current mark in non-sellers and a drop to this grade ought to see him in an even better light. As such, he gets the call. The Crooked Ring has a similar type of profile and can be fancied too. Burford Lass can't be ruled out if applying similar lines of reasoning. A replication of his Kempton short-head defeat of Bucharest last time would see Tipsy Lad fare well, although it is slightly surprising to see him dropped to this level. It is a shame to see Full Spate dropped to this grade but he has shown enough in his runs of late not to be ruled out in this company. Jalamid has become inconsistent but comes out well here based on official ratings and a repeat of his Brighton claiming effort in June would give him a good chance. Finally, Lizarazu has regressed of late but a drop to this level gives him some hope and Guadalpin might be revved up by first-time headgear but, for the selection, we will stick with Ocean Gift.
