Daisy Bucket and Call Me Max are closely matched on running behind Active Asset at Yarmouth last month and should be thereabouts again but Group Captain sets a decent standard and will be tough to beat. The selection was highly tried behind Justaquestion in Ascot's Shergar Cup last time but earlier placed efforts at Warwick and Ascot suggest a race of this nature is within his compass. The Mark Tompkins-trained Diamonds And Dust should be suited by the step up to seven furlongs and warrants respect along with John Dunlop's Flag Point. Amanda Perrett's Double Trigger colt Water Pistol is likely to need further in due course and is probably best watched on his debut along with Colin Tinkler's Red River Rock, although a market move for either would be of interest. Daisy Bucket and Call Me Max have to be respected but Group Captain has every chance of gaining an overdue first success.
