Not the strongest of maidens and it should fall to Coppice, with Efrhina and Play The Melody put forward as the main dangers. This superbly bred son of Rainbow Quest improved from his debut effort at Yarmouth to finish fourth behind Tahtheeb in a much better contest than this. The stable is having plenty of winners as well so he does look to have everything in his favour. Efrhina reverts to maiden company after running reasonably well in handicaps off a mark of 63 and could be the biggest threat to the selection. Play The Melody finished third behind two horses rated in the mid seventies in a maiden here last time and must also enter calculations. Of the others, Innocent Rebel is from a top yard and has shown a modicum of ability, however Luca Cumani looks to have found an easy opening for Coppice and this one gets our vote.
