Iphigenia showed that she handles plenty of cut in the ground when chasing home Pertemps Magus at Catterick last week and is taken to go one better here at the main expense of Azreme and Arctic Desert. The last mentioned has been dropping in the weights all season but may need some more help and a bigger threat may come from Azreme, who ran up to his best when second to King's Caprice at Kempton on Wednesday. George Margarson's Nearly A Fool, a winner on Southwell's turf course in April has failed to sparkle in three starts since then but cannot be dismissed lightly. Yarmouth maiden winner Go Yellow probably needs to improve to win this and of more interest is Michael Bell's Generous Gesture but Iphigenia holds solid claims and gets the vote.
