This has the look of what could turn out to be an informative maiden, and one in which Lunar Goddess is taken to strike at the first time of asking, with Possessed, Wedaad, Bee Seventeen and Zaharath Al Bustan just a few more worth a mention. David Loder has done well with his limited juvenile runners this term, and it would be no surprise if Lunar Goddess were to prove up to the task first time. A daughter of Royal Applause, the dam is a half-sister to Medicean, and Lunar Goddess will no doubt be stepped up to a mile in time. For now though she is taken to beat Possessed who overcame greenness to chase home the fancied Porters on her Newmarket bow. She is another to note along with Sir Michael Stoute's newcomer Wedaad, a half-sister to a couple of Queen Mary winners, Romantic Liaison and Romantic Myth. Bee Seventeen and Zaharath Al Bustan are closely matched on Epsom form and can play a part. The market will be a good guide to the chances of the rest, but we fancy Lunar Goddess to make a winning debut.
