A competitive finale can go the way of HATTA DIAMOND who is nominated over Peter Grimes and Morning Sir Alan. The selection is a lightly-raced colt and he won well when last seen at Wolverhampton. He should appreciate this longer trip and he can win on his handicap debut. Peter Grimes won well over this course and distance last time but his best form so far has been with a bit of cut in the ground and the draw could have been kinder. Morning Sir Alan has shaped with promise in maiden company so it will be interesting to see how he gets on today. He can go well, along with Hawk's Eye who may improve for this step-up in trip. However, Hatta Diamond looked a nice prospect when winning last time and he can go in again.
