      Verdict

      WILD RHUBARB sets the standard in this maiden and he is preferred to King of Wands and Runaway Pegasus. The selection sets the benchmark for the others after going close last time at Lingfield when she finished third behind Darksideofthemoon. That is the best form on show here and she should go well. King Of Wands made steady progress last season, but he may improve for this step-up in trip and if he does then he would have a chance. Runaway Pegasus is a well-bred filly from the Henry Cecil yard and she won't have to be anything out of the ordinary to make her mark on her racecourse bow. Andrew Balding has his stable in good form so Final Victory should not be dismissed lightly, although more is required today. Wild Rhubarb looks the best of those with racecourse experience and he gets the vote.
