A small field that can be dominated by Southdown House. Richard Rowe's seven-year-old has had a late introduction to the racecourse, with just a bumper run here and a hurdling debut at Chepstow to her name thus far. Given that, the Chepstow run earlier in the month was particularly good, staying on well to finish second to Lynrick Lady over a trip slightly shorter than this. Given further improvement and a more suitable distance here she can score. Little else makes any sort of appeal as a winning proposition, with perhaps Bessie Bunter having shown a liking for cut and some good enough form so far to give her place claims, while Leader Supreme makes more appeal simply because of the booking of A P McCoy and a first-time tongue strap than for anything she has achieved on the track so far.
