PYRUS TIME has been knocking on the door of late and is taken to break his maiden tag at the expense of My Chesnut Girl and Time Machine. The selection has finished second in both his last two races and has conditions to suit once again. He was upped in trip at Lingfield last time out and battled well to the line so if he recapture that same level of form he will not be too far away come the business end of the race. My Chesnut Girl is only lightly raced and has been improving with race experience. She ran a personal best when fourth of nine at Goodwood last time out and any market support should be noted. Time Machine finished an eye catching second at Yarmouth on his debut but he did not show any improvement when fourth of eight at Goodwood on his latest outing so is possibly best watched for the time being. Pyrus Time has showed continued improvement in his races and is given the vote to land this maiden.
