Verdict

Roman Dancer has disappointed since going close on his reappearance at Windsor and preference here is for SHOSTAKOVICH. Sylvester Kirk had a winner at Epsom on Derby Day and has his team in good order. This son of Fasliyev didn't last home over 7f at Leicester last time but scored at Ffos Las earlier and is still well treated on his all-weather form. Pick A Little won under Harry Bentley at Brighton last month but is upped in grade here, though still makes more appeal than Toms River Tess and the frustrating Welsh Inlet.
