Verdict

Zakon kept on well to chase home hot favourite Fadhaa over a similar trip at Wolverhampton in April before finishing runner-up to Blue Destination at Yarmouth. Denis Coakley's gelding deserves a change of luck but is beginning to look a little exposed and may be vulnerable against a potential improver like JUNOOB. The Haafhd colt was still very green at Goodwood last time but stayed on nicely in the closing stages to finish fifth and the extra yardage here should suit. Satwa Dream is proving expensive to follow but has place claims here, though any market interest in Jamie Osborne's newcomer Oculist would be significant.
