        Verdict

        Taranaki gets the confident vote with Turn Around and Dvinsky rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Boarder Edge last time out when caught on the line. This shorter distance looks to be in his favour and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Turn Around rates the main danger on his latest second behind Adantino but all his best form is on the AW and for that reason he is overlooked on this occasion. Dvinsky is another that could go well on his latest second behind What A Dancer but that was in a claimer and this looks much more competitive. Bluff is one of the least exposed in the field and is open to plenty of improvement but his stable has been very quiet of late so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Alphun is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market. But for the winner we return to the in-form Taranaki,.
