A wide open contest here with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Kindness, Gran Clicquot and Royal Indulgence and the tentative vote goes to Gran Clicquot. The selection finished in mid-division in a much better race behind Burgundy last time and need only reproduce that effort to win this easier affair. Kindness rates the main danger on her best form but she never runs two races alike so can not be backed with any confidence. Royal Indulgence is another worthy of respect he won well last time out when defeating Skiddaw Jones and if he copes with this faster ground he will not be far away. Shamwari Fire was well beaten in a seller last and will need to improve on that to win this. Of the remainder My Maite was a fair third behind Fantasy Crusader last time and he to has place claims but for the winner we return to Gran Clicquot.
