Verdict

This could develop into a straight match between Madge Carroll and Noisetine - with the former just preferred today. The selection met a progressive rival when finishing best of supporting cast behind Water Sports at Uttoxeter last time but still acquitted herself well in staying on at the finish. And it is her proven stamina that gives Madge Carroll the edge over Noisette. Cullian comes into the race with an improving profile and could give both the principles plenty to think about. However, she her connections have been experimenting with her best trip and she too might find Madge Carroll outstaying her at the finish.
