A wide open contest gets proceedings underway, but Collier Hill, Petrula and Kymani Prince are all shortlisted and the vote goes to Collier Hill. The gelding from the George Swinbank yard has been in fair form on the flat of late, will relish the conditions, and he is taken to maintain his unbeaten record over hurdles. Kymani Prince is held in high regard but he has failed to deliver so far and again he may be best watched. Petrula has shown ability in low grade affairs to date and he would have won last time had he not fallen at the last. However this is more competitive and a place may be the best he can hope for. Of the remainder Reivers Moon is consistent but he is very one paced so we are happy to stick with Collier Hill.
