In depth

Verdict

St Georges Cross was a little disappointing when only fifth at Nottingham earlier this month and may do better when tackling a nursery. Lilbourne Prince is a likely improver but Jinko's Approval already looks thoroughly exposed. Run Riot is probably worth a market check but this looks a good opportunity for HAPPY CALL (NAP). Simon Crisford's Kodiac colt missed the break on his debut at York but kept on under tender handling in the closing stages and the extra furlong looks certain to suit.
