In depth

Verdict

Lord Bryan is an imposing type who won’t be seen at his best until having a few obstacles to jump. There are possibilities about Exeter third The Draconian, however, and Ballymountain Boy and Megabucks have both won point-to-points. Towcester second Way Of The World is improving with experience while Charlie Stout was a fair fourth on debut at Limerick. But a couple of newcomers are likely to attract plenty of attention with Seniergues being by Midnight Legend and from the same family as the useful Lady Rebecca. WESTERN RYDER also has a very nice pedigree being by top stayer Westerner out of a dam that showed promise in a light career – he gets the nod.
