Verdict
DELFACE’s victory at Wexford in March provides a reliable benchmark and he can follow up under a penalty on his first run for new connections. Gang Warfare is making his hurdling debut but ran in some of the top staying handicaps on the Flat this year, though has done most of his winning on the all-weather. Sir George Somers was fourth at Kempton on his first start over hurdles and, being lightly raced, should improve on that here. Captain George has more miles on the clock but was third at Towcester earlier this month so can’t be ignored.
