David Evans makes life far from straightforward by fielding two of the quartet but PALE ORCHID has the best form on show, although the majority of it was delivered during a stellar all-weather campaign last winter on the Polytrack. She's been contesting competitive contests throughout the turf season without troubling the judge but will surely appreciate this easier assignment. Stable companion Redair, in contrast, has enjoyed a fine time of things this term, albeit at a lower level and this looks to represent a greater challenge. Charming could be a danger to both as she did the job nicely enough on her handicap debut at Folkestone and it's fair to expect further progress after just four runs to date.
