In depth

Verdict

RED EXPLORER looks the best of those with form and is taken to go one better than when a half-length runner-up to Dominate at Sandown six days ago. His previous second to Secret Look at Haydock was a useful debut effort too and the son of Henrythenavigator will not be inconvenienced by forecast conditions. Dream Maker and Hardy Red appear more exposed and are preferred in that order but it would not surprise to see a newcomer play a leading role and a market check is essential. At this stage, Stand Of Glory looks most interesting but it would be foolish to ignore Richard Hannon's Reinvigorate or the other Charles Hills contender, Sand Boy.
