In depth

Verdict

Gwencily Berbas outstayed THE MACON LUGNATIC over 3m6f at Exeter in February but the latter might reverse the form over this shorter trip on slightly better terms, though he has flattered to deceive on numerous occasions. However, Ben Pauling’s stayer has won here in the past, as have both Amateur and Fairlawn Flyer. The top weight is 2-3 from here around here and the latter 4-5, though tried in blinkers today. Coup De Pinceau may be best of the rest.
