In depth

Verdict

Dynamite Kentucky landed the odds at Hexham but is unlikely to find it easy to defy his penalty in what looks a more competitive affair. GALLANT COMMANDER was too keen making his debut in a decent contest at Sandown in the autumn but wasn’t entirely disgraced and has been given plenty of time to recover. Idle Speculation is another likely improver and Bert Wilson led until approaching the final furlong when second at Carlisle. Brandy Cove and Landacre Bridge are both nicely-bred newcomers worth a market check.
