In depth

Verdict

Templier is no forlorn hope in this if wind surgery has had the desired effect. Baratineur was a winner at Chepstow in March when only 4lb lower but Grand Coureur needs to rediscover last year’s form. Champion Chase has placed the last twice, including once here, but is now 0-29 and it’s probably time FLIGHT TO NOWHERE was taking advantage of a lowly mark. He was very consistent last season in similar contests with his only poor run coming when tried over a longer trip. Dunbar and Lermoos Legend have been racing over further but Snougar enters calculations dropped a further pound.
