made all, fiddled 8th, left in command 3 out, clear next, very easily

The consistent Bally Longford has to give weight to three recent winners in a tricky puzzle. The Tizzard inmate continues to find one too good and that may be the case once again as MARBLE MOON hacked up the last day at Ludlow and Isabel Williams claims 7lb off the 10lb rise inflicted by the handicapper. Cesar Et Rosalie is an obvious danger to say the least after landing a valuable handicap at Uttoxeter last month and gives the impression he's more to offer over fences. He does have to concede a stone to the selection though when the Williams allowance is factored in. Stockburn scored nicely at Bangor and cannot be discounted either off a 6lb higher mark.

Cesar Et Rosalie (FR) 8-1 (10-4) Held up mid-division, smooth headway to track leaders 5 out, almost upsides when blundered 2 out, soon driven, stayed on to lead flat, ridden out towards finish, won at Uttoxeter 3m hcp (2) gd in May beating Ami Desbois (11-11) by 1 1/2l, 13 ran.
Stockburn (IRE) 3-1 (11-3) Prominent, led 5 out, challenged 2 out, stayed on well, won at Bangor-on-Dee 3m hcp (4) gd in May beating Petiville (11-7) by 3 1/4l, 5 ran.
