Looking well treated and with better form on turf WIND STAR is given the nod to land this handicap marginally ahead of King's Masque while Potentiale should run into a place. A twice winner over this trip the pick has been running well in plating class company recently including pushing the on-form Fremen all the way two starts back. He returns to the handicap ranks racing from a mark 3lbs lower than when last winning so he looks to have a really decent claim. King's Masque hasn't yet won on turf but did go close when beaten by course specialist Ocean Countess at Brighton last term. Based on his all-weather form he's really light in the handicap and his yard have been in the winners this week. Potentiale off his current rating, which stands at 3lbs more than when last in front, should be competitive but might just be weighted out of a win and Mabuya is in with a shout now dropped a couple of pounds in the handicap. A good race this and it should go to Wind Star.
