Verdict

Don't Tell Jr has shown a consistent level of form at this level and looks the safest option in a low grade event. The TEAMtalk selection wound up last term with a convincing victory at Plumpton (now 5lb higher) in February and showed he retains his ability on his seasonal return last month so should prove hard to beat with conditions in his favour. New Rising is well treated on his course and distance win in January 2001 but has failed to greet the judge since and does not appear the force of old. Ibin St James has become disappointing and is best watched on his return from a near seven-month absence while Haste Ye Back has struggled to recapture his best of late.
