Verdict
A competitive start to proceedings where a chance is taken on ADAGE with the booking of Sam Twiston-Davies looking significant. The mare was a rare loser for the yard when teaming up with Tony McCoy at Plumpton where she trailed home 24 lengths behind the winner but she wasn't allowed to get her own way in front on that occasion and paid the price. She fared best of those that raced up with the pace and is entitled to have come on for the run, her first in over a year, whilst this track often favours a front-runner despite the stiff climb to the line. We're Delighted finished in front of her that day so has to enter calculations whilst it would be dangerous to ignore stablemate Stravita along with Bari Bay and Mister Fizzbomb who also likes to front-run.
