Verdict
Another For Joe and Sheedal were both disappointing on debuts and need to find plenty more on their second attempts to get involved. Eternal Ruler wouldn't require too much on the first time of asking to challenge and as a half-brother to a juvenile winner over this trip in Italy he may represent some each-way value. However, we give the vote to FENELLA FUDGE who has put in some very creditable efforts without winning and it is about time she opened her account. She was outpaced in the May Hill Stakes at Doncaster in September but has only narrowly lost out in three difficult maidens and this looks the ideal opportunity. Sabratha has a lot to find on the selection on official ratings and it wouldn't be surprising if newcomer Patriotic ran well for Mark Johnston on debut. A market check is advised for his two-year-old son of Pivotal, with Newby Lodge and Sam Nombulist others who could show improvement.
