Madam Markievicz is worth consideration for the frame places as she has only finished out of the top three twice in ten runs. Tro Nesa drops in class and has won over this sort of trip before but our vote goes to PROPHET IN A DREAM. The pick is 8lb higher than his most recent winning mark but ran decently off this revised rating last time and the trainer has a reasonable record here this year to add to. Peppercorn Rent has the advantage in the weights but will need to exploit the trip and conditions in her favour to stand any chance. Saxonette and Indian Giver are others with claims, particularly the latter. However, Indian Giver races off a career high and although winning well last time, this was on very testing conditions at Newcastle and she may struggle to replicate the success today.
