In depth

Verdict

Bonchester Bridge can make fitness count over Roll Along, with Could Be All right best of the remainder. Bonchester Bridge felt the benefit of a promising Bangor debut in which she chased home Jeremy Cuddle Duck by going one better on a return to the Welsh track a fortnight ago. In truth she had little to beat in that mares' only event in which she was allowed to dominate, but then again she has been found another suitable opportunity to continue her progression and should follow up. Roll Along upset the odds-on Yes Sir at Fontwell on his introduction 12 months ago in a race that turned into a sprint, but he was quietly fancied and can pay to follow after today. Could Be All right was in need of the run on his reappearance at Chepstow and will be suited by this better ground, but he is best watched again, with preference for the mare Bonchester Bridge.
