Maller Tree won a handicap over course and distance in January and ran his best race since when just collared by Viking Blond over 3m at Ffos Las earlier this month. He's the class act in this but not exactly reliable and we prefer REGAL D'ESTRUVAL. From the in-form Richard Newland yard, he won a similar race over 2m here last month and will be happier back over hurdles after falling over fences at Market Rasen last time. Edlomond has won a couple of claimers and can't be ignored while Broughtons Bandit drops into this grade for the time over timber.
