Kitten Rock has looked very impressive since arriving from France and has won his two starts over hurdles in very easy fashion. Lindenhurst beat the very useful Guitar Pete at Gowran but couldn't handle the step-up in class in the Triumph Hurdle, nor could Plinth, who finished tailed off. Gerdago ran very well in that race, making good headway then just running out of steam from the last. Sardinia has had very little racing so it was to his credit that he managed to land a maiden at Wexford. Cape Glory, Rundell and Time For Action are all decent Flat performers making their hurdling debuts while Ivan Grozny, who holds Indian Icon on earlier Naas running, looks best of the Willie Mullins pair. But it's CLARCAM, who fell at the second last when in the lead in the Triumph before finding Guitar Pete just too quick at Aintree, who can gain compensation in a cracking renewal.
