A huge field, though few with realistic chances. Kerrieonvic started a short price for the fourth time at Limerick and again failed to show enough resolution to go past. This longer trip and slightly better ground may aid his cause but he hasn't looked one to put faith in. CHARLES MAGNES has been gradually improving and has done well enough to gain his first success, particularly as he looked to have no problems with the trip at Clonmel last time. He looks the one to be on though he's very closely matched with West Of The Edge on a line through Tooreen, who has beaten them both. Winning point-to-pointer The Cub will appreciate this trip and could prove best of the remainder along with Philip Fenton's Casino Markets.
