Golden Chimes has the form in the bag and can give weight away to his rivals including Enitsag and Lindsay. It generally pays to follow those with proven recent form in hunter chases, and so Golden Chimes is selected after his success at Catterick nine days ago. It was not the strongest of races but he quickened well when asked and with ground conditions in his favour, should make a bold bid to follow up here. Lindsay has the assistance in the saddle of Richard Burton, and could be interesting on his British debut, having been successful over fences in France. He will probably need the run though and more of a threat is likely to be Enitsag. Formerly with Martin Pipe, the five-year-old was disputing the lead at Sedgefield when coming down at the second last on his debut for Steve Flook, and if none the worse for that, can take a hand in the finish. Cantarinho was in action between the flags a fortnight ago so will be fit enough, but Golden Chimes will be handful to cope with and is the selection.
