Verdict

This is another competitive contest and the leading lights look to be Tighten Your Belt, Jackson and Rakalackey and the narrow vote is given to Jackson. The selection was useful over hurdles and although he has yet to translate that form to the bigger obstacles at the forecast odds he looks worth taking a chance on. Tighten Your Belt is the obvious danger and he looks one to stay on the right side of this season. However, this trip may stretch his stamina to the limit and for that reason we will oppose him. Rakalackey put up a fair effort at Cheltenham last time but he is another who might not be ideally suited by today's trip and the chances are he will find a couple too good. Bohemian Boy ran well last time and he is another with place prospects, but for the winner we will stick with Jackson.
