Verdict
A literal interpretation of their running at Plumpton last month gives ANOTHER STORM every chance of reversing placings with Shropshirelass, while Peaceful Means and Lucky Score can also fight out the minors. The selection is 6lbs better off with Shropshirelass for a two-and-a-half length beating at the Sussex track, when trip and conditions were very similar to today's. There is slight concern that the pick has had trouble in winning for a while, whereas her chief rival has got into the habit, but at these weights things will hopefully change today. Peaceful Means may find the ground just a little quicker than ideal, but she acts on a sound surface and stays this far, so she has claims despite top weight. Lucky Score is a maiden after 15 attempts on the Flat and over jumps, and she may find this easier than the two hurdles she has previously raced in, so she is not dismissed from taking home some money. Sophisticated Lady receives lumps of weight and has a squeak of making the frame but Another Storm can be head girl.
