The race won by Adriana Des Mottes over 2m5f here last month could provide a good guide to this. Thunder And Roses jumped well when 9l back in third though Noble Emperor, who was a further 7l back in fourth, looked the more likely to benefit from the run and can turn the tables. The winner's yard is represented by VAL DE FERBET, who scored over hurdles in France but was always more likely to make a staying chaser and this looks a good opportunity for him to make a successful start. Annie Oakley was having her third start over fences when falling at the last at Listowel when well in control so she's an obvious contender as is Busty Brown. Noel Meade's charge, a Grade 2 novice winner over hurdles, also ran in the race won by Adriana Des Mottes here and was still in contention when falling at the second last.
