DATOKEPE followed a nice introduction at Gowran with a very good effort behind the useful Bullock Run at Punchestown where he started favourite. He's related to a host of bumper winners and looks a good prospect though Cebuano, who has been beaten a total of five lengths in his four starts to date, will be a tough opponent. Des Res is from a family of real stayers and looked in need of a greater test of stamina behind Lean Times over 2m3f at Kilbeggan and this may prove too short. Noel Meade's newcomer Joe Smooth is the first foal of a mare who scored over 1m6f on the level and has more of a Flat pedigree than most of these.
