Verdict

Stones And Roses has a fine pedigree being a full-brother to a winning bumper and Willie Mullins has won this three times in the last six years. SOLDIER AT WAR couldn't get to the very smart Malone Road in a point at Loughanmore then just failed to concede 5lb to another promising type on his bumper debut at Punchestown. He'll be winning soon and it could be today despite all eyes being on his stable companion Envoi Allen. Gordon Elliott has booked Jamie Codd for the latter and his mount went for an incredible £400,000 after an impressive victory between the flags at Balinaboola in February, though the runner-up hasn't enhanced the form. Diol Kerr was impressive when landing a point at Curraghmore and his stable remains in good form as does that of Joseph O'Brien, whose Assemble hated heavy ground at Gowran.
