This looks competitive though it's been a very good race for favourites in recent years. Out Sam is likely to be at the head of the market after an excellent fifth in the Troytown but he's by no means certain to beat stable companion ROGUE ANGEL (NAP). The latter, who won the Irish Grand National here in 2016, was well beaten in the Troytown but will have found 3m too short and was earlier beaten less than two lengths by his rival when conceding 2lb over 3m4f at Cork. He's receiving 10lb here with his rider's claim taken into account and gets the nod. Fitzhenry is a young staying prospect who had a spin over hurdles last month to put him straight for this though he could find the ground a bit lively but Velocity Boy would have taken a hand in the finish in Out Sam's race at Cork but for falling at the second-last so has to be respected. Undressed has joined Willie Mullins on a lowly mark and it would be no surprise to see him taking a hand.
