APPLE'S JADE produced a brilliant performance to win this for the second time a year ago, coming home clear of Nichols Canyon and today's rival Supasundae. Gordon Elliott's mare looked as good as ever when thrashing Jezki at Navan last month and a hat-trick beckons. Her former trainer Willie Mullins is saddling four in an attempt to dislodge her crown and the return to action over hurdles of the top-class Limini has been eagerly awaited. She beat her great rival in a Listed race at Punchestown in February of last year before a close third to her in the Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham a month later. She's been in winning form on the Flat recently and it should be a great battle between the pair. Supasundae wants further but Sutton Place is unbeaten in three starts on the track and beat Kemboy over fences on New Year's Day. Bapaume is a very smart young hurdler who landed a Grade 2 at Auteuil in June but could do with the ground easing.
